Renewing Your Membership
Renewing extends your existing membership. Your classes, students, tasks and all of the progress data stay exactly as they are.
Renewing early costs you nothing
This is the part worth knowing, because not knowing it stops schools renewing at a sensible time.
A renewal is added to your current expiry date, not to the day you renew. Renewing in June when you expire in August gives you the full new term on top of the time you already have. You lose nothing by doing it early, and you avoid the gap in access that comes from leaving it late.
The only case where a renewal starts from today is when the membership has already expired.
How to renew
- Go to the Classes page.
- Find the membership panel at the top and choose Renew.
- Check the number of seats. The basket is filled with your current seat count, which you can change if your numbers have moved.
- Complete the checkout.
If your school needs an invoice or a purchase order rather than paying by card, get in touch before checking out.
Changing the number of seats at renewal
The renewal basket starts with the seats you have now. You can increase it, or reduce it if your intake has shrunk.
If you reduce it below the number of pupils you currently have, the membership becomes oversubscribed when the renewal takes effect. Existing pupils keep their access, but you will not be able to add anyone new until you are back inside your limit. Remove leavers first if you are trimming your seat count.
Renewing several memberships at once
If your school holds more than one membership, each has its own renewal. They can be paid for together in a single basket rather than one at a time.
If you have let it expire
You can still renew. See Expiry for how long your classes are kept and what happens after that.
Screens in these guides use a demonstration account, so your own school name, courses and dates will be different.
