Getting Started
This guide shows you around your dashboard, which is the first page you see when you sign in.

Pick up where you left off
The wide blue bar near the top is the quickest way back into your work. It remembers the exact lesson and slide you stopped on, so Continue lesson takes you straight back rather than to the start of the course.
Underneath it you can see which slide you are on and how far through the course you are.
Your week
Along the top right are the days of the week. A filled star means you did some work that day. It is a simple way to see whether you have kept going this week.
The four cards
| Card | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Level | Your level, and the points needed to reach the next one |
| Day streak | How many days in a row you have worked, and your best ever |
| This week | How long you have studied this week |
| Top 3 finishes | How often you have finished in your class's top three |
Points come from finishing lessons, passing quizzes and completing activities. You do not need to do anything special to collect them.
Courses
Your courses are listed with a progress bar for each one. Click a course to open it and see its lessons.
If your teacher gives you a code for another class, use Join another class here.
Focus Areas
This is the most useful part of the page.
Focus Areas suggests lessons worth going back to, based on your own quiz scores. It picks up two kinds of thing:
- Lessons where your score was low, so the material has not stuck yet.
- Lessons you did well on a long time ago, which are worth refreshing before an assessment.
Each suggestion has a Revise button that takes you straight there. If you are not sure what to revise, start here rather than guessing.
Getting around
The sidebar on the left has everything else:
| Item | What it is |
|---|---|
| Courses | All your courses and their lessons |
| Progress | Your marks and study time in detail |
| Achievements | Badges you have earned |
| Leaderboard | How you compare with your class |
What next?
- Finding and working through a lesson
- Taking quizzes
- Tasks and homework
Screens in these guides use a demonstration account, so your own name, courses and scores will be different.
