Reading the Tracker
The Tracker is the detailed view: every student, every lesson, marks and time. It answers "who has done what, and how well".
If you want the shorter answer to "what should I do about it", use the Insights tab instead. The Tracker is where you go to check the detail.
Open your class and choose the Tracker tab.
Choosing a course
If the class studies more than one course, use the dropdown at the top right to pick one. Everything below updates to match.
The four summary cards

| Average Mark | The class average of each student's best marks |
| Average Attempts | How many quiz attempts a student makes on average |
| Average Study Time | Time spent on lesson slides and activities |
| Average Quiz Time | Time spent actually sitting quizzes |
Study and quiz time come from page activity rather than from quiz results, so they tell you about effort rather than attainment. The line above the cards shows when that time data was last updated, with a Refresh link if you want it recalculated now.
The table
Students run down the left. The first few columns repeat the summary figures for each individual. After those, each numbered column is a lesson, in course order.
Hover over a lesson number to see the lesson's full name.
Colour coding

Sorting
Click any column heading to sort by it. Sorting by a lesson column is a fast way to find everyone who struggled with one particular topic. Sorting by Study Time finds the students putting in the least effort.
Names stay as plain text so the table is easy to read. The small icon beside a name opens that student's own page.
Which mark is shown
The dropdown on the left of the table controls which figure fills the lesson cells:

| Activities | How many in-lesson activities they finished |
Best against First is the most useful comparison. A student who moved from 40% to 90% has learned something, and only the pair of views shows that.
Activities
Choosing Activities switches the lesson columns to show how many of each lesson's interactive activities a student has completed. Hover a cell for the breakdown of which ones.
This catches students who are answering quizzes but skipping the practice.
Exporting
The Export dropdown saves the current table, including your chosen mark type and sort order, so you can paste it into a report or your school's tracking spreadsheet.
Clicking through
- The icon beside a student's name opens their individual analysis.
- A lesson number at the top of a column opens Lesson Insights for that lesson, which shows how the class handled each quiz question.
Screens in this guide use a demonstration class. Your own class names, students and data will differ.
